Beginning your clinical journey as an LMSW is an exciting and challenging transition. I provide clinical supervision for LMSWs in Texas seeking to develop their skills, confidence, and professional identity while working toward independent licensure.
My supervision approach is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in a trauma-informed, client-centered framework. I strive to create a space where supervisees can bring clinical questions, explore case conceptualization, strengthen therapeutic skills, and process the emotional demands of the work. Supervision incorporates discussion of ethics, boundaries, documentation, evidence-based interventions, cultural humility, and the development of a strong clinical voice.
With nearly 20 years of experience as a social worker, including work with trauma, survivors of abuse, complex clinical presentations, children, adolescents, and adults, I enjoy supporting emerging clinicians as they grow into thoughtful, ethical, and confident therapists.
